Registering for homeschooling is easy! 

On May 1st, 2012 Georgia state legislature passed a new law that shifts the homeschool reporting obligation away from local school districts to the Georgia Department of Education in Atlanta. Additionally, homeschool families are no longer required to report attendance AT ALL (as of July 1, 2013). This means that to homeschool legally, you only have to make one simple submission to the Department of Ed each year:
